Advia Foundation
Empowering our community through grants and awards.
Advancing Lives Grant
The Advia Foundation invests in programs and services that make lasting impact in our communities. Grants from the Advia Foundation benefit organizations that are causing change, improving lives, and driving progress.
Cheryl A. DeBoer Soar Higher Award
The Soar Higher Award is in honor of Advia’s former President & CEO Cheryl DeBoer, who retired in 2022. This $5,000 scholarship opportunity is available to students currently enrolled in or accepted to Western Michigan University's College of Aviation.
Look out for the next application round opening in Spring 2025.
Youth Scholarships Program
At Advia, we celebrate and promote education that engages, enriches, and inspires our youth to develop knowledge and skills for lifelong financial competence. Investing in our future leaders through our Youth Scholarship Program is one small way we give back to our communities. Scholarships are awarded to graduating high school seniors who exhibit academic achievement, leadership skills, and commitment to the community.
Teachers and Educators Scholarship
Teachers and educators can submit classroom financial literacy project proposals that foster understanding, increase students’ knowledge, and provide opportunities to expand their ability to make effective and informed money management decisions.
Volunteering Locally
Because we are committed to giving back to our communities, Advia encourages volunteerism through our Advia ACTION (Advancing Community Ties In Our Neighborhoods) Hours Program. This provides staff paid time away from work to volunteer.
